What is wrong with John Hagee & CUFI?
John Hagee is the founder of “CUFI” – “Christians United for Israel”…
While that title may sound good, please understand what Hagee actually means:
“…The first rule adopted by Christians United for Israel was that there would be no proselytizing at our events. CUFI exists only to honor and support the Jewish people, never to convert them…” ~ By John C. Hagee, The Forward, May 13, 2010
“It is time for Christians everywhere to recognize that the nation of Israel will never convert to Christianity and join the Baptist church in their town.” ~ John Hagee, In Defense of Israel, 2011, page 148
If one does not “preach the gospel” to the Jew, then one is guilty of the WORST kind of “hatred” towards the Jew! How can anyone be more “anti-Semitic” than that? John Hagee (and others) are NOT “friends of Israel”. They are leading them into the “Broadway” that leads to destruction! [Matthew 7]
“The Jews were not rejecting Jesus as Messiah; it was Jesus who was refusing to be the Messiah to the Jews.” ~ In Defense of Israel, 2011, (page 140)
“They wanted Him to be the Messiah, but He flatly refused.” (page 141)
“He refused to be their (Jews’) Messiah, choosing instead to be the Savior of the world.” (page 143)
“In refusing to drink the cup, Jesus rejected to the last detail the role of Messiah in word or deed. The Jews did not reject Jesus as Messiah; it was Jesus who rejected the Jewish desire for him to be their Messiah.” (pages 144-145)
Listen to this young woman’s plea for people to Beware of John Hagee:
What is wrong with John Hagee’s congregation?!!!
As with C. I. Scofield ~ How can a man divorce his wife, marry another woman [from his former church], and continue pastoring at his new church? Shame on that congregation! [1 Timothy 3]
“In 1975, he (John Hagee) had resigned as pastor of a charismatic church because of his immorality. He then became pastor of Cornerstone Church in San Antonio, Texas. After his wife divorced him, Hagee married a young woman from the former church (Calvary Contender, June 15, 1994).”
